Training Services
SACT has nearly 20 years’ experience in delivering training on Autistic Spectrum Disorders to organisations, professionals and practitioners throughout the UK. Our comprehensive range of courses are run by trainers with proven expertise in the subjects in which they train. Our trainers have the in-depth knowledge, practical experience and excellent presentation skills required to enhance your learning experience. As part of the training day we provide refreshments and a light lunch to all our delegates. A certificate of attendance is issued on completion, with the exception of Health & Safety and Basic Food Hygiene which are CIEH certificated based on each delegate successfully passing a written test at the end of the course.

This is the most effective way to train larger groups of staff.
As well as providing in-house training of all the courses offered in our training programme we also offer
additional bespoke training courses, more information about this can be found on page 13 of our training brochure.
Our highly experienced trainers are very flexible, enabling them to customise course content to fit your
individual requirements and to deliver the training at a venue of your choice.
Very competitive rates are charged per day and not per delegate (up to a maximum of 25) which makes this
option cost effective when training groups of staff. Our training suite is also available for hire and details about this follow below.

Training Room
Situated on the First Floor of Sussex House, in the centre of the historic town of Battle, East Sussex, our training room is a comfortable and bright room and is available for hire.
The training room is suitable for up to 25 people seated around tables and 50 people seated theatre style. The room benefits from an Interactive White Board, an Overhead Projector, flip chart and Air Conditioning and in addition there is a comfortably furnished room available for breaks or for use as a break out room.
The Trust uses local providers for delicious and varied lunches, which can cater for specialist dietary requirements. Alternatively, training participants have a range of local bakeries, cafés and restaurants nearby to choose from.
Battle train station is a 10 minute walk away and there is a Public Car Park less than 5 minutes from Sussex House offering Long and Short Stay options.
Hire Charges:
Full day (9am - 5pm) £100
Half day (9am – 1pm) or (1pm - 5pm) £50
Hourly bookings £15 per hr
Tea, coffee & biscuits are included in the Hire Charge for up to 25 people, thereafter an additional charge of £1.50 per person is applied
Lunch can be provided on request at additional cost
