Café des Arts is a Social Enterprise and the aim of this café and art gallery is to provide people with autism with an opportunity to undertake work-based learning and to showcase and sell their art work.
The National Autistic Society exists to champion the rights and interests of all people with autism and to ensure that they and their families receive quality services appropriate to their needs.
This website is designed to be a gentle step by step guide into the fascinating and rewarding world of autism.

SACT is a member of the World Autism Awareness Day working group. For the years 2009 & 2010 the theme is "Stand Up for Autism". This link will take you to youtube and a specific page dedicated to supporters and celebrities who have filmed clips. It includes Erasure's Andy Bell and illusionist Derren Brown, who both filmed clips for SACT. World Autism Awareness Day has been assigned as 2nd April by a United Nations General Assembly.
